Mission Statement: Ethical Standards for Mental Health (ESMH) promotes ethical clarity, responsible influence, and professional accountability in mental health through education, research integrity, and thoughtful public engagement.

  • Established the Ethical Standards for Mental Health Coalition

  • Developed and adopted core mission, values, and strategic direction

  • Created initial governance documents, including bylaws and internal policies

  • Completed formal nonprofit setup and application process

  • Built a founding leadership team of licensed professionals and aligned experts
